As part of our Regional Entrepreneurship Dialogues on the 2026 Regional Entrepreneurship Freedom (REF) Index, the ACEYE team presented the findings from the 2026 REF Index report to Hon. Charles Lwanga Puozuing Esq, the Upper West Regional Minister and the Upper West Regional Co-ordinating Council(UWRCC) in attendance with Heads and representatives of key institutions and stakeholders whose works contribute to shaping the region’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.
The dialogue provided an opportunity to examine the findings, share perspectives on the realities of entrepreneurship in the Upper West Region, and discuss the opportunities and challenges that continue to shape the ecosystem.
We were particularly encouraged by the openness and receptiveness of the Hon. Minister, the RCC and participating stakeholders. The feedback, insights and views shared during the engagement are valuable to us, and we are taking them seriously as we continue to strengthen our work and contribute to more effective entrepreneurship policies and support systems.
Overall, it was a valuable experience and an important step towards building stronger collaboration with stakeholders at the regional level.
