As our Regional Policy Dialogues continued in the Northern Region, the ACEYE team was welcomed by the Northern Regional Chief Director. We presented the findings of the 2026 REF Index report to the Northern Regional Coordinating Council (NRCC), representatives of key institutions including MOTAI and the FDA, and entrepreneurs, and discussed the state of entrepreneurship in the region.
The dialogue brought the findings to life as entrepreneurs shared some of the challenges they face, including the difficulties involved in meeting certification requirements. The contributions from all present made for a meaningful and insightful conversation, with a shared vision for action towards greater entrepreneurial freedom.
We hope this conversation serves as a step towards reforms that strengthen the entrepreneurial ecosystem in the Northern Region and Ghana at large.
