Edem Awusi - Project Consultant
Edem Awusi is an entrepreneurial finance enthusiast committed to developing innovative financing pathways for entrepreneurs in Ghana and Africa. Edem has strong competencies in Entrepreneurial Finance, Entrepreneurship, Project Development & Management, Monitoring and Evaluation, Research, Grants Resource Acquisition & Management, and Training.
Edem is skilled in creating and promoting strategic alliances with donors, multilateral agencies, and other stakeholders to increase available resources for organizations. He is adept at developing “business solutions” to Africa’s development challenges.
He has designed and worked on various donor projects, serving in multiple roles such as Project Manager, Monitoring and Evaluation Expert, Community Development Expert, and Project Officer.
Edem is a 2018 Tony Elumelu Entrepreneur, a Mentor to the Tony Elumelu Entrepreneurship Program, and an Advisory Mentor to The Queen’s Young Leaders Program. He is the founder of the Africa Centre for Development Finance, a development finance consultancy and advocacy entity, and currently runs a stealth startup. Additionally, Edem serves as a projects consultant for the Africa Centre for Entrepreneurship and Youth Empowerment (ACEYE).
Edem obtained both his undergraduate and postgraduate education at the University of Ghana.
