Shawn Liu - Fellow of the Centre for Emerging Economies
Shawn Liu is a dual Master’s candidate at Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service, with an MS specializing in Global Business, Finance & Society, and an MA in Global, International, and Comparative History. His work bridges economics, development, and international policy, with a focus on infrastructure, energy, and firm upgrading in emerging markets. He has held research and consulting roles at the World Bank, Cato Institute, Hong Kong Science & Technology Parks, and FundFluent, and is currently a Ronald Coase Fellow at the Mercatus Center. At ACEYE, he contributes to research on the developmental impact of AI and the role of financial innovation in emerging economies.
