Richmond Kwesi Ansah - Co-Founder
Dr. Richmond Kwesi Ansah is a co-founder of the Africa Centre for Entrepreneurship and Youth Empowerment (ACEYE), bringing a wealth of academic research expertise and practical entrepreneurial experience to the organization. He holds a PhD in Business and Management from the University of Manchester (UK), an MSc in Business Management from Hong Kong Baptist University (Hong Kong), an MSc in e-Business and Supply Chain Management from Lingnan University (Hong Kong) and a BSc in Business Administration from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (Ghana).
Beyond his academic achievements, Dr. Ansah is an accomplished entrepreneur and investor with a profound interest in fostering Africa’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. He is also actively involved in academics. He currently serves as a Lecturer in Sustainability at the University of Salford (UK), where his teaching and research are dedicated to exploring how grassroots innovations drive responsible management practices.
As a recognized George Ayittey Society Scholar, Dr. Ansah’s scholarly contributions are extensive, including peer-reviewed papers in top-tier academic journals, numerous teaching case studies, book chapters, and influential opinion articles. He’s been trained at the Atlas Network Academy on Think Tank Fundamentals and Free Market.
At ACEYE, Dr. Ansah plays a pivotal role in shaping our research agenda. He ensures that all research projects are conducted with the utmost rigor and robustness, with a clear vision for translating these outputs into tangible policy changes and significant practical impacts for entrepreneurs and the broader populace. Dr. Ansah provides invaluable consultation and guidance in the implementation of ACEYE’s signature research-intensive programs, including the REF Index, IGIPTEP, and Public Policy Value rating.
